Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the procedure to book a session?​

If you are a new client, please fill the intake form and block your preferred date/time on the calendar. We will send a Therapy and Confidentiality Agreement via email. Please go through the document, sign it, and email it back to us before the session.

  • ​What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

Cancellation within 24 hours of the session time will invite a 50% payment of the session fees. Absence from a session (not showing up 15 minutes into the session) without prior intimation will be charged as a full session. If there is an empty slot in the week that can be allotted to the Client, it will be done, if not, an appointment will be scheduled by the Client for the week after. 

  • What are the charges and other payment details?

 

Our standard charges are ₹2000/- for Indian clients and ₹3500/- for international clients. We take online payments via UPI/NEFT. Payment needs to be made the day before the session. If the payment isn’t done before the session, it will be deemed as cancelled. If the cost is a concern, we can discuss and come up with a plan to accommodate your budget.

  • ​What types of therapy do you offer?

 

We offer individual therapy for various mental health issues. We use an integrative approach to therapy, with a core focus on trauma and neurodiversity.

  • How do I know if therapy is right for me?

 

Therapy can be beneficial for anyone whether it is personal growth, emotional support, or assistance with specific mental health issues. If you're uncertain, you can call, email or text us requesting for a 10-15 min consultation and we’ll be more than happy to address your concerns.

  • What should I expect during my first therapy session?

 

During your first session, we’ll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal history, and your goals for treatment. If you’re still unclear, the therapist will help you navigate and understand what you need.

  • Will our conversations be kept confidential?

 

  Yes, unless there are legal implications, potential harm to you or others, suspected abuse etc. During this we will need to report to relevant authorities.

  • How long does each therapy session last?

 

At Lilie Counselling, a therapy session is 60 minutes, 55 minutes for the session and 5 minutes for closing. The duration can be adjusted based on your needs and the therapist's recommendations.

  • How often should I attend therapy sessions?

Ideally, weekly sessions are recommended, but this can be adjusted depending on your needs and goals.
